Description

In the office 5 days a week for the training. After the contractor can go Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

 

Summary:

  • The main function of a Quality Assurance Inspector is to ensure that products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • A typical Quality Assurance Inspector performs inspections, documents findings, and collaborates with production teams to maintain consistent product quality. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products Use measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product specifications
  • Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external standards (e.g., ISO, FDA) Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives

 

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking Proficiency in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs)
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and regulatory standards Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and software

 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor s degree preferred 10+ years of experience in quality assurance or inspection roles
