Family of Apps Decision Science — AI-Native Technical Program Manager

Org: Strategy, Operations, and Analytics / Family of Apps DS

Role: Project Specialist: Technical Program Manager — Family of Apps Data Science (FOA DS)

Top 3 must-have HARD skills:

  • Experience working in AI-native orgs / on AI projects
  • Strong client collaboration and Leadership communication
  • Ability to synthesize open conversations into plans, frameworks and action items

About the role

Client’s Marketing Strategy, Analytics, and Operations (SAO) organization is seeking an experienced, AI-native Technical Program Manager to join our Marketing Decision Science organization, supporting our Family of Apps (FOA) Data Science teams.

  • As a TPM you will play a crucial role in building and supporting high-performing Decision Science teams and their leadership while creating a bridge to their business partners to drive business impact through AI solutions and efficiencies.
  • These teams operate with a high degree of technical expertise, a rigorous business focus, and an agile delivery mindset.
  • You will be embedded with FOA DS partners across client's apps running the operations for our DS teams to  translate marketing data into measurable insights and impact.
  • This is an AI-native role.
  • We expect you to use AI tools as a core part of how you operate — from synthesizing meeting notes to feed into status updates, to automating recurring workflows, to evaluating new AI capabilities for the team and ensuring we are focusing on the most impactful solutions, whether new or existing.
  • The strongest candidates will already have a working practice of integrating tools like Claude Code, Gemini, Codex, and other agentic tools.
  • To you, AI is not a new tool in your toolbox you check the box on.
  • You have set aside old notions of how work is delivered and AI is simply part of how you function.

Key responsibilities

  • Defining and maintaining strong collaborative operating rhythms across FOA DS teams and their CLIENT partners
  • Guiding roadmap planning, including quarterly revisions and re-prioritization
  • Implement and execute regular working rhythms to ensure a dependable delivery rhythm of high-quality work in alignment with the top priorities of the business
  • Helping break down work into actionable tasks and ensuring sufficiently scoped work is ready for engineers and data scientists
  • Unblocking work and resolving team impediments
  • Tracking project progress, deliverables, and milestones
  • Coordinating and managing dependencies across DS, DE, Marketing, Product, and CLIENT teams
  • Organizing and maintaining project information and documentation across the team and in our AI-enabled knowledge repositories
  • Providing regular stakeholder updates on timelines, status, and risks

AI-native expectations

Beyond traditional TPM execution, you have demonstrated outcomes leveraging AI to:

  • Operate AI-first: Use AI agents to draft status reports, synthesize stakeholder updates, summarize meetings, and generate first-pass artifacts (decks, briefs, retros) so the team can review and refine instead of starting from blank pages, while balancing the need for human review
  • Automate operating cadences: Build and maintain lightweight AI-driven workflows for recurring rituals — weekly status rollups, executive updates, debriefs, and contribution digests
  • Evaluate and onboard AI tooling: Pilot new AI capabilities (internal AI agents, tools, skills, and integrations) and help ensure rigor when evaluating building new solutions vs. adopting existing ones
  • Codify team knowledge: Help maintain a structured "team brain" — context, soul, and agent definitions — that lets AI tools act on the team's behalf for routine coordination work
  • Raise the bar on documentation quality: Treat documentation as machine-readable context, not just human-readable narrative, so AI agents can reliably reason over it

Additional scope

  • You will be a bridge with our horizontal Marketing Technology (MarTech) and capability teams, connecting powerful technology to scale the impact of our FOA DS and campaign teams.
  • This includes coordinating launches and integrations, training,  and developing documentation and new processes that reduce workload and increase clarity for the teams you support.
  • You will also assist with metrics, operations, and governance as it relates to the FOA DS and DE teams, and collaborate closely with Marketing Data Operations TPMs to create new processes and communication protocols for prioritized projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related fields — ideally supporting data science, data engineering, or analytics teams
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of data, software development, and analytics workflows
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from start to finish
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex challenges
  • Self-starter with a bias towards action and a passion for driving results

AI-native requirements

  • Demonstrated working practice with AI tools in a PM/TPM context — e.g. using Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, or equivalent agents to draft, summarize, automate, or accelerate program management work with quantifiable business outcomes
  • Comfort writing prompts, building lightweight automations, and reasoning about where AI augments vs. where it shouldn't be in the loop
  • Curiosity about agentic workflows, and comfort staying ahead of the curve on an incredibly quickly evolving space
  • Examples of AI-driven workflows you have personally built or adopted at a previous role are strongly preferred

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Client's Family of Apps surfaces and the marketing/data science partnership model
  • Experience with experimentation, measurement, or growth marketing data domains
  • Prior contingent worker engagement at Client or a similar large tech environment

Good to have skills:

  • Embracing ambiguity
  • Technical experience (building using AI or Analytics familiarity)

Years of experience needed: At least 5

Typical Day in the Role:

  • Supporting org director distill down most important action items for the team
  • Creating exec facing documents
  • working with FoA managers to x-share the AI innovations and de-duplicate / consolidate builds where necessary
  • Build your own AI tools for efficiency / productivity for self / teams / org
