Description
Job Summary:
- Help Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems focused on exceeding quality, cost, and schedule requirements to support business growth.
- The role will support a project that develops and defines concepts and processes for, and integral to, new product and product enhancement programs as well as coordinates and integrates specialized processes and techniques into a lean manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support Evaluate and implement innovative, cost effective, safe, manufacturing processes and techniques, which will improve the effectiveness of the manufacturing operations and business systems.
- Support Develop manufacturing planning, initial tooling requirements and costs, capability requirements, control plans, and assessments, which facilitate the specification of the manufacturing processes.
- Support Develop and implement manufacturing flows, workstation layouts, and station controls, which optimize value added operations, operating costs, and product/process quality.
- Collaborate closely with various functional team members to enhance design for manufacturability and ease of integration to manufacturing facility. Provide regular updates to stakeholders as required.
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Engineering discipline) and 5+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Interpersonal skills and team player.
- Proficiency with MS Office, CAD software, data analysis.
