Job Description

  • The Senior Product Manager will assist the regions in expanding the product globally.
  • This technology represents a key growth driver for Critical Care and significant opportunities within the Critical Care setting.

 

How you will make an impact:

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the Swan-Ganz product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives. Manage product lifecycle from launch to obsolescence, including updates and enhancements.
  • Commercial Development: Develop and execute strategies to drive product adoption and market penetration. Collaborate with sales and branding teams to create and implement effective sales enablement campaigns.
  • Customer Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research / VOC and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats. Use insights to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage product forecasts and financial models. Track and report on product performance metrics and KPIs.

What you will need (Required):

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related pre-med program or business with a strong ability to learn. MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, preferably in the medical device industry.

  • Proven success working in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams
  • Be able to build market models and launch trackers to determine the success or failure of a product.
  • Ability to quickly assess and understand market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics, etc. with imperfect information
  • Relevant clinical and physiological knowledge or demonstrated aptitude and curiosity to learn new subjects
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to cultivate long term, productive relationships with regional Edwards partners, customers, and professional and academic societies

 Summary:

  • The main function of a marketing manager is to manage team and related marketing projects, programs and initiatives within the Digital Innovation, infrastructure and implementation area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global digital center of excellence team within marketing.
  • Identify opportunities and lead the implementation of innovation and digital innovation, which lead to increase brand equity (in innovation) and contribute to key business objectives and strategies
  • Lead the implanter digital strategy, develop implanter digital plan and ensure timely and effective implementation of implanter digital tactics, while working closely with the US product marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans and productive relationships
  • Plan and direct assigned operational and project activities with the accountability for successful completion of assigned deliverables within digital marketing
  • Develop team members to increase business acumen and functional skills
  • Other incidental duties

Additional Skills:

  • Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
  • Proven successful project management leadership skills
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
  • Extensive understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles while defining team operating standards and ensuring essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline
  • Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to marketing including forecasting, expense budgeting and management, purchase order compliance and processing, and 3rd party vendor compliance management.
  • Demonstrated skill set to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of marketing to the business
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
  • Primarily interacts with internal subordinates and other supervisors
  • Ability to develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.
  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field. MBA highly preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience required
