Description
HYBRID / 3 days onsite; 2 days remote
Education:
- 4-year College degree with a focus in Procurement, Technical field, or Supply Chain Operations is preferred (may consider experienced candidates as a substitute for a college degree)
Experience:
- Knowledge of R/3 and/or S/4 SAP and BW/BI Reporting (may consider strong candidates without this specific experience) (or Power BI experience)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Utilize Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups), Word, SharePoint, and Visio in most daily tasks
Responsibilities:
The Procurement Sourcing Support Analyst’s main responsibility is to perform delegated procurement duties in support of the Seeds and Traits businesses, including Seed Field Crops and R&D. They will also assist in departmental administrative duties as needed. These duties will include assisting internal Stakeholders with vendor data management tasks, transactional purchasing (in SAP), running reports, as well as troubleshooting requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, payment, and data correction issues for the business.
- Support the operational purchasing for the Seed Field Crops business
- Assist the Seeds & Traits R&D business operational processes
- Help standardize the global process for planning the purchase of equipment and agricultural machinery
- Guide and standardize vendor master data requests (new and changes)
- Work with the Global Sourcing Team as needed on any project deliverables or assist in meeting preparation/planning/scheduling
- Expert user of S&T Reporting Dashboard, Contract system management (CSM)
- Interact with internal stakeholders to offer solutions on requests and issues
- Departmental administrative duties
- Ad hoc projects (reporting, etc.)
