Description
Onsite/Hybrid – Onsite
Third shift (Sun-Thurs, 4 days a week) Sunday 4:45pm - 5:15 am,
Mon - Thursday 11:30pm - 5:30am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Troubleshoot process problems (emphasis on production) and develop process improvements.
- Support Lean Initiatives, including lean activities, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives Support of internal and supplier nonconformance elimination
- Support of improved field reliability initiatives and quality issues
- Perform tests as directed by Design/Product & Manufacturing Engineering in support of component approval or nonconformance elimination
- Troubleshoot production issues
- Verify product conformance to documented requirements
- Use Quality performance metrics to drive improvement
- Process non-conformance dispositions through Material Review Board
- Create manufacturing process routings and rework plans
- Ensures workplace safety and organization
- Self-motivated and flexible; willing to shift priorities as needed.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to participate in continuous learning opportunities as part of job and personal development.
- Use metrics to manage and drive improvement.
- Understanding of production and inspections tools, techniques and their application to engineering requirements desirable.
- Strong computer skills in a MS-Windows environment
Safety Requirements:
- Individual must wear OSHA approved safety glasses with side shields and steel toe safety shoes when working in the manufacturing area.
- Hearing protection must be worn when noise levels in the manufacturing area warrant use and hard hat when required.

- While performing the duties of this job, the individual regularly works in a shared office environment where noise levels vary from quiet to moderate depending on activity.

Individuals enters/works within the shop floor manufacturing areas where noise levels vary from moderate to loud, where individual may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and where individual may be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
