7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Mon-Sat)

Working 6 days per week for first 2 months of assignment.

  • Candidate should possess 1 year forklift experience, will accept 6 months if they meet all other qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or general equivalency diploma is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year warehousing experience highly preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Able to work well with all departments, levels of management and peers.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift and lift 56 lbs. by hand.
  • Able to work well with all departments, levels of management and peers.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks is required. Computer literate, use of Microsoft Office, able to operate a calculator & perform mathematical function, operate telephone, fax machine, copier and computer printer.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills are essential. The ability to operate a sweeper and scrubber.

Responsibilities:

Job Purpose

  • The Warehouse Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, and stacking for accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet standards of safety, security, and productivity.
  • This position must fill and/or relabel customer orders and deliver them to the staging area or location in a manner of completeness and correctness.
  • Person must be able to trouble shoot and come up with resolutions for day-to-day activities in shipping.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Performing defensive receiving of product including put-a-way. Perform Cycle Count/Recounts/Inventory Audits.
  • Pick product from pick list for SAP order. Audit orders that have been picked. Perform bin cleaning and inspection.
  • Repack product.
  • Relabel product for inventory and orders. Audit product and paperwork that has been relabeled. Fill returnable bins.
  • Work with drivers on special needs such as how to load trailer and re-arranging product already on trailer.
  • Relocate Product in warehouse locations. In House transfers.
  • Go through return area and audit product/relabel to put back into good stuck when required.
