- Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Author & Digital Asset Management (DAM) Consultant
Position Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Author & DAM Consultant with 10+ years of experience managing enterprise digital experiences.
- This role is ideal for a highly detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in AEM Sites, a strong understanding of enterprise content management, and the ability to deliver high-quality, optimized digital experiences at scale.
- The successful candidate will partner closely with Marketing, Creative, UX, Development, QA, Product, and Analytics teams to deliver engaging, accessible, and brand-compliant web experiences while serving as a subject matter expert in AEM authoring, content operations, and website governance.
- This individual will be responsible not only for executing authoring activities, but also for establishing standards, improving operational efficiency, maintaining website content quality, and ensuring content initiatives are successfully delivered from planning through publication.
Key Responsibilities
AEM Authoring & Content Operations
- Serve as the senior AEM authoring expert, providing guidance on advanced authoring capabilities, best practices, content governance standards, publishing workflows, and operational processes.
- Author, edit, optimize, QA, publish, and maintain enterprise websites using Adobe Experience Manager Sites.
- Translate Figma, Adobe XD, or other design mockups into production-ready AEM pages using existing components while ensuring pixel-accurate implementation.
Website Governance & Health
- Own authoring governance standards, publishing procedures, metadata requirements, tagging standards, content quality controls, and content lifecycle best practices.
- Conduct periodic audits of website content, metadata, tagging, and publishing practices to ensure compliance with established standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites).
- Strong experience working with Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Management (DAM).
- Deep understanding of enterprise content management, content governance, and digital publishing workflows.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional proofreading, QA, and content validation skills.
- Experience working from Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), metadata strategy, content governance, and digital content optimization.
- Experience authoring with reusable AEM components, templates, experience fragments, and content fragments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud products, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch, or related personalization technologies.
- Experience working with offshore, nearshore, or third-party authoring partners.
- Understanding of headless CMS concepts and Content Fragments.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies to support authoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams using Jira and Confluence.
- Adobe Experience Manager certifications preferred.
