Official Job Title: Research Associate - Process Development

Location: Onsite (5 days a week) Philadelphia, PA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works independently under the guidance of Scientists to execute laboratory experiment to support viral vector production
  • Perform tasks to support day-to-day laboratory operations, including buffer/solution preparation, equipment cleaning, calibration
  • Keep accurate, detailed laboratory records and comply to all required training and safety guidelines.
  • Perform data analysis and communicates technical outcomes in technical reports and presentations

Required Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Life Sciences or Engineering
  • Laboratory experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or biotech in an academic or industry setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with member of cross-functional team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems while anticipating the downstream impacts
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness.
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with downstream unit operations such as centrifugation, filtration, and chromatography
