Material Handler lll-Holland MI
Position Summary:
- The Material Handler III is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of products within the facility.
- This includes following all safety and quality guidelines, picking, packing, preparing, and distributing materials using both manual and automated equipment (including forklifts).
- The worker will also be responsible for inventory management tasks such as sorting, recording, and marking products, as well as loading and unloading trailers.
- There are some larger/odd, shaped packages that will need to be prepped for shipments.
Key Details & Requirements:
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Steel-toed shoes required.
Start Date: ASAP, pending onboarding and pre-screening requirements. Safety Sensitive.
Experience/Education
- 5-10 years experience preferred. Must show consistent, reliable work history.
Skills & Attributes:
- Effective communication, ability to read warehouse software, forklift certification, basic material prep skills, and longevity in prior roles preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in varying temperatures and environments, operate a computer, and communicate effectively. May require travel between locations.
Additional Notes:
- Must adhere to safety/hygiene procedures and wear steel-toed shoes.
- Overtime and expense reimbursement expectations were not specified.
