Description
Purpose/Role Summary:
- The Senior Project Manager helps instill corporate brand by leading cross-functional creative teams to deliver best-in-class, multi-channel creative solutions.
- The ideal candidate is motivated and proactive, with a passion for insights-driven marketing, creative problem solving and has a deep understanding of how creative work is achieved through projects, workflows and processes.
- Additionally, you'll demonstrate stewardship and provide project leadership to meet Division strategies and business objectives.
- The Senior Project Manager leads the most complex and critical projects (Tier 1) within the organization, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with strategic goals.
- The Senior Project Manager will manage multiple projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as an expert to lead project management methodologies, coordination and plans.
- This role is part of the Creative team, a group within Client's global marketing and external affairs team.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Participate and lead as a Project Management subject matter expert for team processes, onboarding, and change management to promote continuous improvement.
- Mentor, support and provide feedback to Junior- and Mid-Level Project Managers and team members where appropriate to foster skill development and supportive culture.
- Collaborate with strategists, creative directors, writers, designers to develop strategically driven creative campaigns and content that attracts, engages and activates target audiences, while increasing Client’s share of voice and brand awareness metrics.
- Document project plan in project management software and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Proactively identify and manage project opportunities, issues and risks, and escalate issues in a timely manner to leadership.
- Serving as a central point of contact, build and maintain strategic partnerships with business partners, internal teams and external partners.
- Execute scope change management and project close-out processes and participate in project assessments and communicate lessons learned.
- Lead project management team partnership with Operations team to provide forecasting; have advanced understanding of tracking, reporting and oversight on project budget, expenditures and metrics.
- Influence the development of ideas that reinforce the values of the Client brand and exhibit critical thinking to connect and align adjacent bodies of work.
- Recognize and celebrate achievements within project teams and organization. Acknowledge others for their accomplishments and efforts.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field
- Experience: Minumum 7 years; Creative agency or related industry experience is a must. Events, tradeshows and experiential experience is highly recommended for this role
- Licenses and Certifications: PMP Certification or similar certification encouraged
