Description
Hrs/Wk: 24.00
Actual Job Title: Absence and Disability Specialist
Work location: Hybrid (Hybrid (virtual and up to 3 days a week in person as needed): Melville office location starting January 2027 ;Bethpage (before January 2027). In January, will start working at Melville location pending facility readiness)
Day to day absence management functions.
- Interaction with our vendors, United Review, MetLife and Liberty Mutual.
- Corresponding with employees and managers on status of leaves, time coding questions, etc.
- Computer savvy, able to navigate excel and assist with improving current processes
- Assist with consolidating information from existing records into new file feed format
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
- Experience in Talent Acquisition preferred
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
- Must have strong knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Must be organized, high-energy and have a strong attention to detail
